Dear Mad Foxes;

The 2013 reunion is now set in concrete. It will officially be held on October 17-20, in Jacksonville. We have contracted with the Astoria Hotel,(old Holiday Inn) in Orange Park, FL, South of NAS Jax on US Rt.17, 5 minutes from the base. It has spacious meeting rooms and a restaurant and bar. There are several restaurants (full service and fast food, within walking distance. Shopping centers, etc. within 5 minute drive. The room rates are $50.00 per night. When making reservations, please use the
Code 2PMF. This will ensure that you are getting the correct rate. RV parking is available at the hotel, no hook-ups. There is also an RV camp ground at the base.

As usual, we will have festivities on both Friday and Saturday evenings. There will be a non-refundable registration fee of $20 per/person in advance or $30.00 per/person at the door. All attendees will receive commemorative designed “T”-Shirts and name tags especially made for the reunion.

There will be door prizes for the following:

First registration and meals paid
Longest distance traveled
Oldest attendee
Youngest attendee
Longest tour
Shortest tour
Most crewmembers from same crew
Most ground pounder/Staff members from same shop/office

Registration fee must be paid prior to September 30 in order to allow enough lead-time to order caps and t-shirts. The cost for Friday is $20.00/person, and for Saturday $30.00/person, $80.00 for single and $150.00 for couple. Schedule of events:

The Hospitality Room will open on Wednesday, (October 16), evening and will be partially stocked with beverages, hard and soft.
Thursday, (October 17), is check in and registration for early arrivals.
On Friday, October 18, we’ll have check in and registration all day as needed. In the evening, we’ll have a casual party featuring an assortment of finger foods.
At 1130 Saturday, October 20 we'll have lunch in the Mess Hall.
At 1300 Saturday we'll take the Squadron tour including P8-A aircraft.
On (October 19), Saturday evening we will have our main banquet featuring Roast Beef, Chicken (and maybe fish), Salads and a variety of vegetables, deserts and drinks.
Sunday, October 20, Checkout and farewells until the next reunion.
